Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Porte del Sapere II by Arnaldo Pomodoro was auctioned at Christies in New York in September last year. It changed hands for a price of USD 18,900.00 (€ 19,319.23) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arnaldo Pomodoro achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Giroscopio IV in October 2015 with an auction result of GBP 674,500.00 (€ 943,457.03).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Porte del Sapere II von Arnaldo Pomodoro kam im September letzten Jahres bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 18.900,00 (€ 19.319,23) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Arnaldo Pomodoro erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Giroscopio IV im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 674.500,00 (€ 943.457,03).
