Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work 12 Views for Caroline Tatyana by Brice Marden was sold in the Contemporary Edition auction at Christies in New York in March 2017. Here, the upper estimate of USD 25,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 27,500.00 (€ 25,705.74). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Brice Marden achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 11 (to Léger) in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 16,999,000.00 (€ 15,060,689.29).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit 12 Views for Caroline Tatyana von Brice Marden wurde im März 2017 in der Auktion Contemporary Edition bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 25.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 27.500,00 (€ 25.705,74) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Brice Marden erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 11 (to Léger) im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 16.999.000,00 (€ 15.060.689,29).
