The work Loyalty (H9-7), from The Virtues by Damien Hirst was sold in the Contemporary Edition auction at Christies in July this year. It achieved a price of USD 15,120.00 (€ 13,720.51), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 26%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Damien Hirst achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lullaby Spring in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 9,652,000.00 (€ 14,323,082.54).

Die Arbeit Loyalty (H9-7), from The Virtues von Damien Hirst wurde im Juli diesen Jahres in der Auktion Contemporary Edition bei Christies versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 15.120,00 (€ 13.720,51) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 26%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Damien Hirst erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Lullaby Spring im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 9.652.000,00 (€ 14.323.082,54).
