Auction result well in line with expectations
In March last year Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction Prints & Multiples, which included the work Schiessbude by Erich Heckel. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 21,562.50 (€ 19,437.93) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Erich Heckel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Blühende Apfelbäume in February 2018 with an auction result of GBP 1,508,750.00 (€ 1,704,340.14).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion Prints & Multiples durch, in der auch die Arbeit Schiessbude von Erich Heckel zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 21.562,50 (€ 19.437,93) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Erich Heckel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Blühende Apfelbäume im Februar 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.508.750,00 (€ 1.704.340,14).
