Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Studie für ein abstraktes Bild by Gerhard Richter was auctioned at Phillips in New York in November this year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 300,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 304,800.00 (€ 279,427.94). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gerhard Richter achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Abstraktes Bild in February 2015 with an auction result of GBP 30,389,000.00 (€ 41,901,917.57).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Studie für ein abstraktes Bild von Gerhard Richter kam im November diesen Jahres bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 300.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 304.800,00 (€ 279.427,94) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gerhard Richter erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Abstraktes Bild im Februar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 30.389.000,00 (€ 41.901.917,57).
