This artwork by Irene Rice Pereira achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in New York in April 2010. In the The Estate of Mrs. Harry N. Abrams auction, the work Exercise in Space I sold for USD 1,500.00 (€ 1,127.65) - well above the upper estimate of USD 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Irene Rice Pereira achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Generator) in May last year with an auction result of USD 60,480.00 (€ 56,360.08).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Irene Rice Pereira erzielte im April 2010 bei Phillips in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Estate of Mrs. Harry N. Abrams wurde die Arbeit Exercise in Space I für USD 1.500,00 (€ 1.127,65) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Irene Rice Pereira erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Generator) im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 60.480,00 (€ 56.360,08).
