Auction result well in line with expectations
In October last year Christies in New York held the auction Prints and Multiples, which included the work Constellations by Joan Miró. The price achieved of USD 52,920.00 (€ 53,271.59) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joan Miró achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Peinture (Étoile Bleue) in June 2012 with an auction result of GBP 23,561,250.00 (€ 29,174,436.97).
