Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Alexis' Room) by Jonas Wood was auctioned at Christies in New York in July 2019. The price achieved of USD 5,250.00 (€ 4,716.98) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jonas Wood achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Two Tables With Floral Pattern in May 2021 with an auction result of USD 6,510,000.00 (€ 5,338,691.16).

Die Arbeit Untitled (Alexis' Room) von Jonas Wood kam im Juli 2019 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 5.250,00 (€ 4.716,98) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jonas Wood erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Two Tables With Floral Pattern im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.510.000,00 (€ 5.338.691,16).
