Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Founders by José Parlá was auctioned at Bonhams in London in April last year. It changed hands for a price of GBP 765.00 (€ 912.24) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by José Parlá achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Writers' Bench: Grand Concourse & 149th Street, The Bronx in June last year with an auction result of HKD 1,764,000.00 (€ 214,665.78).
