KAWS (B. 1974) TAKE (BLACK; PINK; BLUE) the complete set of three vinyl multiples, 2020, each stamped 'KAWS..20 TAKE MEDICOM TOY CHINA' on the underside, from the edition of unknown size, published by Medicom Toy, in very good condition, each with the original plastic packaging, boxes and holograms Each Overall: 13 1 ⁄ 4 x 6 x 4 in. (336 x 152 x 101 mm.)
Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work TAKE (BLACK; PINK; BLUE) by Kaws was auctioned at Christies in July this year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 3,024.00 (€ 2,744.10). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kaws achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Kimpsons #1) in October 2019 with an auction result of HKD 57,877,000.00 (€ 6,615,255.49).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit TAKE (BLACK; PINK; BLUE) von Kaws kam im Juli diesen Jahres bei Christies zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 3.024,00 (€ 2.744,10) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kaws erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Kimpsons #1) im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 57.877.000,00 (€ 6.615.255,49).
