The »bidding war« ended at USD 17,500.00 (€ 15,848.58), 46% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Keith Haring achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May 2017 with an auction result of USD 6,537,500.00 (€ 5,818,351.73).

Die Arbeit Pop Shop Quad IV von Keith Haring wurde im Oktober 2015 in der Auktion Prints & Multiples bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 17.500,00 (€ 15.848,58) und damit 46% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Keith Haring erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.537.500,00 (€ 5.818.351,73).
