Auction result well in line with expectations
In August 2021 Bonhams in New York held the auction Prints & MultiplesSummer Splash: Featuring Artists of the South of France, which included the work Henriette by Louise Bourgeois. The price achieved of USD 3,825.00 (€ 3,241.53) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,500.00 – 4,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Louise Bourgeois achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Spider in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 32,055,000.00 (€ 28,751,457.53).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im August 2021 führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion Prints & MultiplesSummer Splash: Featuring Artists of the South of France durch, in der auch die Arbeit Henriette von Louise Bourgeois zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.825,00 (€ 3.241,53) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.500,00 – 4.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Louise Bourgeois erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Spider im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 32.055.000,00 (€ 28.751.457,53).
