Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Le Cercle catholique du Sacré-Cœur, rue du Mont-Cenis à Montmartre by Maurice Utrillo was sold in the Modern & Contemporary Day Auction auction at Sothebys in London in March last year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 70,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 75,600.00 (€ 89,632.31). Admittedly, works by Maurice Utrillo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Le Paravent De Maurice Utrillo, 1939 in November 2010 with an auction result of EUR 835,540.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Le Cercle catholique du Sacré-Cœur, rue du Mont-Cenis à Montmartre von Maurice Utrillo wurde im März letzten Jahres in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Day Auction bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 70.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 75.600,00 (€ 89.632,31) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Maurice Utrillo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Le Paravent De Maurice Utrillo, 1939 im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 835.540,00.
