Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September 2017 Christies in London held the auction Prints and Multiples, which included the work Le frére mendiant o Libro del Conocimiento by Pablo Picasso. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 22,500.00 (€ 25,526.54). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pablo Picasso achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les femmes d'Alger (Version 'O') in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 179,365,000.00 (€ 163,148,080.77).
