Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Pierre Bismuth could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in March 2013 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art auction, the work Most Wanted Men/Bruxelles (Olafur Eliasson) changed hands for USD 875.00 (€ 682.74) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pierre Bismuth achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Most Wanted Men/Nyc (Banks Violette) in September 2008 with an auction result of USD 15,000.00 (€ 10,652.65).
