Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

It achieved a price of USD 3,570.00 (€ 3,283.66), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 19%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Richard Diebenkorn achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Recollections of a Visit to Leningrad in November this year with an auction result of USD 46,410,000.00 (€ 42,546,754.68).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit #20 (Painting in Artist's Studio), from 41 Etchings and Drypoints von Richard Diebenkorn kam im März diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 3.570,00 (€ 3.283,66) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 19%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Richard Diebenkorn erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Recollections of a Visit to Leningrad im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 46.410.000,00 (€ 42.546.754,68).
