The complete portfolio, comprising 12 engravings with pochoir on japon nacré paper, each signed in pencil and numbered 84/250 (from the total edition of 682 plus proofs), published/printed by Atelier Rigal, with full margins, contained in brown leather and velour portfolio with gold title on cover.

Auction result well in line with expectations
In March last year Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction Prints & Multiples, which included the work Le Bestiaire de La Fontaine Dalinisé by Salvador Dalí. The price achieved of USD 12,112.50 (€ 10,919.05) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 14,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Salvador Dalí achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait De Paul Éluard in February 2011 with an auction result of GBP 13,481,250.00 (€ 15,879,784.58).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion Prints & Multiples durch, in der auch die Arbeit Le Bestiaire de La Fontaine Dalinisé von Salvador Dalí zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 12.112,50 (€ 10.919,05) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 14.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Salvador Dalí erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait De Paul Éluard im Februar 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 13.481.250,00 (€ 15.879.784,58).
