It achieved a price of USD 81,900.00 (€ 83,716.65), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 64%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Stanley Whitney achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Radical Openness in May last year with an auction result of USD 2,228,000.00 (€ 2,076,227.75).
