Auction result misses estimated price range
In September this year a collector was able to acquire the work Fusion Plastique by Yaacov Agam for USD 572.00 (€ 540.44). This price was achieved in the auction Editions & Works on Paper: Online Auction at Phillips in 6 - and was even below the estimate range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yaacov Agam achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Growth in December 2010 with an auction result of USD 698,500.00 (€ 526,414.95).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Fusion Plastique von Yaacov Agam für USD 572,00 (€ 540,44) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Editions & Works on Paper: Online Auction bei Phillips in 6 - erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yaacov Agam erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Growth im Dezember 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 698.500,00 (€ 526.414,95).
