This artwork by Andy Warhol achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in April 2020. In the Prints & Multiples auction, the work Sunset (See Feldman & Schellmann Ii.85-88) sold for USD 112,500.00 (€ 102,692.83) - well above the upper estimate of USD 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Andy Warhol achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Shot Sage Blue Marilyn in May last year with an auction result of USD 195,040,000.00 (€ 181,753,797.41).
