Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2012 Christies in New York held the auction First Open Post-War and Contemporary Art, which included the work All We Have Is Now by Cameron Martin. The price achieved of USD 10,000.00 (€ 7,778.47) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Cameron Martin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (102), which sold at auction in May 2007 for USD 24,000.00 (€ 17,839.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2012 führte Christies in New York die Auktion First Open Post-War and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit All We Have Is Now von Cameron Martin zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 7.778,47) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Cameron Martin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (102) beobachtet, die im Mai 2007 für USD 24.000,00 (€ 17.839,89) versteigert wurde.
