Auction result misses estimated price range
In July last year a collector was able to acquire the work Synthese zwischen den Polen (Synthesis Between the Poles) by Camille Graeser for GBP 6,300.00 (€ 7,523.32). This price was achieved in the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale, London at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Camille Graeser achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Disloziertes rotes Quadrat, 1964/66 in October 2017 with an auction result of CHF 106,250.00 (€ 91,509.27).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Synthese zwischen den Polen (Synthesis Between the Poles) von Camille Graeser für GBP 6.300,00 (€ 7.523,32) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale, London bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 7.000,00 – 10.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Camille Graeser erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Disloziertes rotes Quadrat, 1964/66 im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 106.250,00 (€ 91.509,27).
