A top price for Francis Ruyter
In February 2007 Phillips in New York held the auction Under the Influence, which included the work City of Women by Francis Ruyter. Here, the upper estimate of USD 40,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 42,000.00 (€ 31,746.03). With this result, City of Women is even the most expensive work of art by Francis Ruyter that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Februar 2007 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Under the Influence durch, in der auch die Arbeit City of Women von Francis Ruyter zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 40.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 42.000,00 (€ 31.746,03) einen neuen Besitzer. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist City of Women sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Francis Ruyter, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
