Both signed, dated and numbered 16/100 and 98/100 in pencil respectively (there were also 9 artist's proofs), published by Gemini G.E.L., Los Angeles (with their blindstamps), both framed.

Auction result well in line with expectations
In June this year Phillips in New York held the auction Editions & Works on Paper, which included the work Gezira; and Gavotte, from Black Series II (G. 67 & 72, A. 14 & 19) by Frank Stella. It changed hands for a price of USD 6,985.00 (€ 6,396.52) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frank Stella achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Point Of Pines in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 28,082,500.00 (€ 25,188,357.70).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni diesen Jahres führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Editions & Works on Paper durch, in der auch die Arbeit Gezira; and Gavotte, from Black Series II (G. 67 & 72, A. 14 & 19) von Frank Stella zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 6.985,00 (€ 6.396,52) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Frank Stella erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Point Of Pines im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 28.082.500,00 (€ 25.188.357,70).
