Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Silvia by Franz Gertsch was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2014. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 64,900.00 (€ 81,859.31). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Franz Gertsch achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Luciano Ii in March 2017 with an auction result of GBP 2,746,250.00 (€ 3,218,333.92).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Silvia von Franz Gertsch kam im Juli 2014 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 64.900,00 (€ 81.859,31) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Franz Gertsch erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Luciano Ii im März 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.746.250,00 (€ 3.218.333,92).
