Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Napoléon by Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec was auctioned at Christies in New York in October last year. It achieved a price of USD 69,300.00 (€ 69,760.42), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 16%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Blanchisseuse in November 2005 with an auction result of USD 22,416,000.00 (€ 19,012,722.65).
