This artwork by Jan Sierhuis achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in New York in April 2010. In the The Estate of Mrs. Harry N. Abrams auction, the work Untitled (Two Figures) sold for USD 2,750.00 (€ 2,067.36) - well above the upper estimate of USD 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jan Sierhuis - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Composition, which sold at auction in February 2008 for EUR 4,375.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Jan Sierhuis erzielte im April 2010 bei Phillips in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Estate of Mrs. Harry N. Abrams wurde die Arbeit Untitled (Two Figures) für USD 2.750,00 (€ 2.067,36) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 1.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Jan Sierhuis mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Composition beobachtet, die im Februar 2008 für EUR 4.375,00 versteigert wurde.
