Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2006 Christies in Paris held the auction Jean Pierre Raynaud Sans prix de réserve, which included the work Carrelage Numéroté 26 by Jean-Pierre Raynaud. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 10,800.00 20% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean-Pierre Raynaud achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Deux sens interdits sur fond blanc in May 2007 with an auction result of EUR 204,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2006 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Jean Pierre Raynaud Sans prix de réserve durch, in der auch die Arbeit Carrelage Numéroté 26 von Jean-Pierre Raynaud zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 10.800,00 und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean-Pierre Raynaud erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Deux sens interdits sur fond blanc im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 204.000,00.
