In June last year Koller held the auction Grafik & Multiples, which included the work Light Trap. 1965. by Jesús Rafael Soto. The »bidding war« ended at CHF 10,000.00 (€ 10,001.91), 43% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jesús Rafael Soto achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Vibración Blanca in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 1,035,000.00 (€ 886,889.46).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 43 % übertroffen
Im Juni letzten Jahres führte Koller die Auktion Grafik & Multiples durch, in der auch die Arbeit Light Trap. 1965. von Jesús Rafael Soto zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von CHF 10.000,00 (€ 10.001,91) und damit 43% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jesús Rafael Soto erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Vibración Blanca im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.035.000,00 (€ 886.889,46).
