Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2015 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work Punk Stan by Joyce Pensato. The price achieved of GBP 23,750.00 (€ 33,220.32) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Joyce Pensato have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sunset Batman in December 2020 with an auction result of HKD 2,250,000.00 (€ 237,326.25).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2015 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Punk Stan von Joyce Pensato zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 23.750,00 (€ 33.220,32) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Joyce Pensato auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sunset Batman im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.250.000,00 (€ 237.326,25).
