Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Malfi, from Sequences (3 works) by Julian Schnabel was sold in the Deck the WallsPrints & Multiples auction at Bonhams in December last year. The price achieved of USD 3,570.00 (€ 3,337.07) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Julian Schnabel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ethnic Type #14 in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 1,452,500.00 (€ 1,220,793.41).
