Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Three Plates, from Book of Cats by Foujita was auctioned at Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts in September this year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 2,176.00 (€ 2,176.00). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Foujita achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La fête d'anniversaire in October 2018 with an auction result of GBP 7,096,250.00 (€ 8,002,380.76).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Three Plates, from Book of Cats von Foujita kam im September diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 2.176,00 (€ 2.176,00) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Foujita erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La fête d'anniversaire im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.096.250,00 (€ 8.002.380,76).
