In November this year Christies in New York held the auction Graphic Century, which included the work La Petite Fenêtre (The Little Window) by Marc Chagall. The »bidding war« ended at USD 8,190.00 (€ 7,508.25), 64% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marc Chagall achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les Amoureux in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 28,453,000.00 (€ 23,914,103.21).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 64 % übertroffen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Christies in New York die Auktion Graphic Century durch, in der auch die Arbeit La Petite Fenêtre (The Little Window) von Marc Chagall zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 8.190,00 (€ 7.508,25) und damit 64% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marc Chagall erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les Amoureux im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 28.453.000,00 (€ 23.914.103,21).
