Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In February 2007 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art Day Sale (Morning and Afternoon), which included this untitled work by Martin Kobe. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 69,600.00 (€ 103,179.50), 16% above the upper estimate. Other works by Martin Kobe have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 205,000.00 (€ 131,748.07) in May 2008 for the work Rudera.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Februar 2007 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Sale (Morning and Afternoon) durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Martin Kobe zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 69.600,00 (€ 103.179,50) und damit 16% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Martin Kobe haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 205.000,00 (€ 131.748,07) im Mai 2008 für die Arbeit Rudera beobachtet.
