A top price for Michael Kvium
In February 2007 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art Day Sale (Morning and Afternoon), which included the work Flood by Michael Kvium. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 39,600.00 (€ 58,705.58), 32% above the upper estimate. With this result, Flood is even the most expensive work of art by Michael Kvium that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für Michael Kvium
Im Februar 2007 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Sale (Morning and Afternoon) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Flood von Michael Kvium zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 39.600,00 (€ 58.705,58) und damit 32% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Flood sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Michael Kvium, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
