This price was achieved in the auction Prints & Multiples at Bonhams in Los Angeles and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of USD 1,200.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rockwell Kent achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Gray Day in November 2016 with an auction result of USD 852,500.00 (€ 805,917.94).
