It achieved a price of USD 2,167.50 (€ 1,849.72), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 45%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rufino Tamayo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work America in November 2008 with an auction result of USD 6,802,500.00 (€ 5,358,830.94).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 2.167,50 (€ 1.849,72) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 45%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rufino Tamayo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit America im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.802.500,00 (€ 5.358.830,94).
