Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work #10 Family Album by Samira Alikhanzadeh was auctioned at Phillips in London in October 2012, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,554.16). Admittedly, works by Samira Alikhanzadeh have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Self-portrait (triptych) in October 2008 with an auction result of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 8,763.16).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit #10 Family Album von Samira Alikhanzadeh im Oktober 2012 bei Phillips in London versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.554,16) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Samira Alikhanzadeh auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Self-portrait (triptych) im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 6.875,00 (€ 8.763,16).
