Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2019 Christies in New York held the auction Contemporary Edition, which included the work Untitled (2) by Thomas Nozkowski. It changed hands for a price of USD 750.00 (€ 673.85) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 600.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thomas Nozkowski achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (8-64) in May this year with an auction result of USD 48,260.00 (€ 45,297.54).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2019 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Contemporary Edition durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (2) von Thomas Nozkowski zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 750,00 (€ 673,85) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 600,00 – 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Thomas Nozkowski erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (8-64) im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 48.260,00 (€ 45.297,54).
