Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Vb-35 Performance Solomon Guggenheim Museum, New York by Vanessa Beecroft was sold in the Contemporary Art auction at Sothebys in New York in April 2008. Here, the upper estimate of USD 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 12,500.00 (€ 8,029.29). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vanessa Beecroft achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Vb 48, Palazzo Ducale, Genoa in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 120,000.00 (€ 89,199.44).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Vb-35 Performance Solomon Guggenheim Museum, New York von Vanessa Beecroft wurde im April 2008 in der Auktion Contemporary Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 12.500,00 (€ 8.029,29) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Vanessa Beecroft erzielen.
