Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Turning and Turning in the Widening Gyre by Victor Pasmore was auctioned at Bonhams in December last year. The price achieved of GBP 637.50 (€ 719.68) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Victor Pasmore achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Abstract in Indian Red, Crimson, Blue, Yellow, Green, Pink and Orange in October 2019 with an auction result of GBP 200,000.00 (€ 231,985.66).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Turning and Turning in the Widening Gyre von Victor Pasmore kam im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 637,50 (€ 719,68) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Victor Pasmore erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Abstract in Indian Red, Crimson, Blue, Yellow, Green, Pink and Orange im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 200.000,00 (€ 231.985,66).
