Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September 2017 Christies in New York held the auction Contemporary Edition, which included the work Il Labirinto della Psiche by Victor Pasmore. Here, the upper estimate of USD 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 5,250.00 (€ 4,444.26). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Victor Pasmore achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Abstract in Indian Red, Crimson, Blue, Yellow, Green, Pink and Orange in October 2019 with an auction result of GBP 200,000.00 (€ 231,985.66).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September 2017 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Contemporary Edition durch, in der auch die Arbeit Il Labirinto della Psiche von Victor Pasmore zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 5.250,00 (€ 4.444,26) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Victor Pasmore erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Abstract in Indian Red, Crimson, Blue, Yellow, Green, Pink and Orange im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 200.000,00 (€ 231.985,66).
