Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In July this year Christies held the auction Contemporary Edition, which included the work Kroa A by Victor Vasarely. The »bidding war« ended at USD 13,860.00 (€ 12,577.13), 16% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Victor Vasarely achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Altaï Iii in February 2010 with an auction result of GBP 565,250.00 (€ 630,588.93).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juli diesen Jahres führte Christies die Auktion Contemporary Edition durch, in der auch die Arbeit Kroa A von Victor Vasarely zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 13.860,00 (€ 12.577,13) und damit 16% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Victor Vasarely erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Altaï Iii im Februar 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 565.250,00 (€ 630.588,93).
