Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Dans l'Atelier, from 'Paroles Peintes' by Alberto Giacometti was auctioned at Bonhams in December last year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 2,040.00 (€ 2,302.96). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alberto Giacometti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work L'homme au doigt in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 141,285,000.00 (€ 128,511,006.00).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Dans l'Atelier, from 'Paroles Peintes' von Alberto Giacometti kam im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.800,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 2.040,00 (€ 2.302,96) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alberto Giacometti erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit L'homme au doigt im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 141.285.000,00 (€ 128.511.006,00).
