This artwork by Anatoliy Kryvolap achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in New York in May 2011. In the Contemporary Art Part II auction, the work Steppe sold for USD 98,500.00 (€ 68,516.97) - well above the upper estimate of USD 40,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Anatoliy Kryvolap - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Horse, Evening, which sold at auction in June 2013 for GBP 122,500.00 (€ 142,979.44).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Anatoliy Kryvolap erzielte im Mai 2011 bei Phillips in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art Part II wurde die Arbeit Steppe für USD 98.500,00 (€ 68.516,97) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 40.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Anatoliy Kryvolap mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Horse, Evening beobachtet, die im Juni 2013 für GBP 122.500,00 (€ 142.979,44) versteigert wurde.
