The work Electric Chair by Andy Warhol was sold in the Contemporary Edition: New York: Featuring the Collection of Kenwal Steel in Support of GLAAD auction at Christies in New York in March this year. It achieved a price of USD 30,240.00 (€ 27,814.57), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 51%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Andy Warhol achieve.
