Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work Crucifixión by Antonio Saura. The price achieved of GBP 31,250.00 (€ 36,270.93) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Antonio Saura achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Crucifixion noire et rouge in February 2007 with an auction result of GBP 535,200.00 (€ 793,414.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2019 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Crucifixión von Antonio Saura zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 31.250,00 (€ 36.270,93) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Antonio Saura erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Crucifixion noire et rouge im Februar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 535.200,00 (€ 793.414,78).
