Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work #18, from Etchings to Rexroth (L. 40/18) by Brice Marden was auctioned at Phillips in New York in March last year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 6,048.00 (€ 5,452.09). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Brice Marden achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 11 (to Léger) in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 16,999,000.00 (€ 15,060,689.29).
