In March this year Christies in New York held the auction Contemporary Edition: New York: Featuring the Collection of Kenwal Steel in Support of GLAAD, which included this untitled work by Donald Judd. The »bidding war« ended at USD 69,300.00 (€ 63,741.72), 39% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Donald Judd achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in June 2020 with an auction result of USD 9,831,600.00 (€ 8,753,984.51).
