Signed, dated and numbered 8/100 in pencil (there were also 12 artist's proofs), published by Gemini G.E.L., Los Angeles (with their blindstamps and inkstamp on the reverse), framed.

Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June this year Phillips in New York held the auction Editions & Works on Paper, which included the work Itata, from V Series (G. 76, A. 23) by Frank Stella. Here, the upper estimate of USD 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 5,715.00 (€ 5,233.52). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frank Stella achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Point Of Pines in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 28,082,500.00 (€ 25,188,357.70).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni diesen Jahres führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Editions & Works on Paper durch, in der auch die Arbeit Itata, from V Series (G. 76, A. 23) von Frank Stella zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 5.715,00 (€ 5.233,52) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Frank Stella erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Point Of Pines im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 28.082.500,00 (€ 25.188.357,70).
